Isabel Pask (she/her) is a Brooklyn-based, Texan-born director, actor, writer, and producer with Puerto Rican roots.
Isabel is a founder and director for stonesoup productions, a film production company and storytelling collaborative. She is also a contributing artist for the femme-millennial production company CNT Productions, for which she wrote, starred in, and coproduced the short film This is Not a Love Letter (177K+ views on YouTube). She is the producing associate for The Sol Project and a member of the theatrical ensembles The Bellwether Project and Notch Theatre Company. She is a cast member and Creative Producer for the interactive live show Please Don't Kill Us.
Isabel wrote and starred in the short film Get Lost, directed by Victoria Pedretti (YOU, The Haunting of Hill House, Ponyboi) which wrapped post-production in early 2024 and is entering the festival circuit. Most recently, she directed, co-wrote, and produced the short film Goodnight, which stars Dagmara Domincyzk (Succession, The Lost Daughter) and will also be released this year. In 2022, she unexpectedly dipped her toe into the world of stand-up comedy, opening for Amy Schumer at City Winery and the Comedy Cellar.
Her work has been recognized by publications such as Ms. Magazine, and the San Francisco Chronicle, along with numerous international film festivals, including Madrid International Film Festival, Toronto Indie Filmmakers Festival, Venice Shorts, Big Apple Film Festival, Women’s Voices Now Film Festival, Vancouver International Film Festival.
As an actor she has performed regionally and in NYC with Chautauqua Theatre Company, Santa Cruz Shakespeare, McCarter Theatre Center, Ars Nova, Dorset Theatre Festival, and Shakespeare Theatre of NJ. Film/TV credits include the upcoming independent feature Revelations of Divine Love, Life and Beth (Hulu), and Succession (HBO).
Isabel is the recipient of the Paul Green Award from the National Theatre Conference (former recipients include Jeremy O’Harris, Miranda Haymon) which recognizes and encourages excellence in new professional theatre talent. Isabel is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, where she studied Acting and Creative Writing.
Isabel’s work aims to reveal moments of holiness in everyday living. She is actively in search of the world’s thin places: places where heaven and earth feel a little closer together.
